Amy has been working in the film industry as an actor since 2016. She is represented by Sky Talent in Halifax, and Oldfield Talent in Toronto. Amy is known for her three season role on the CBC comedy, Mr. D and her starring role in the digital medical drama season I Hear You. Her films have screened internationally at some of the top festivals including TIFF, Berlin, and the Sitges Film Festival. Her performance in the short film Jerky was awarded Best Actress by the Cinema Soup Festival as well as Best Short Drama at the Atlanta Underground Film Festival. Having trained as a professional boxer and in stage combat, Amy does her own stunts and has a wide range of athletic skills that she brings as a performer. Amy is drawn to roles that are unique and showcase voices and points of view that are underrepresented in film and television. Currently she has two new features being released in 2021, 8:37 Rebirth (Juanita Peters), and Shush (Michael Fox).
